Madeline was born and raised on Vancouver Island. After graduating from Trinity Western University with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in political studies, Madeline worked for several years as a Community-Based Research Coordinator for a non-profit, advocating for those facing chronic health issues.

While in Law School at the University of Victoria, Madeline did a co-op placement with the Department of Justice and worked for a semester at the Environmental Law Clinic. Madeline has also volunteered in support of gender diversity and served as a committee member with the Victoria Sexual Assault Centre.

After working as a summer law student and articling student at a 35+ lawyer civil litigation and insurance law firm in downtown Vancouver, Madeline moved to the Okanagan to join family.

Madeline sees her role as a lawyer as meeting people where they are, in the midst of stressful, painful, and confusing circumstances, and advocating for successful outcomes.

Outside of work, Madeline enjoys boxing, bouldering, paddleboarding, and snowshoeing. An avid fan of the Vancouver Whitecaps, Madeline also follows NASCAR and Formula 1.
