Zack articled at a small family law firm in Halifax, Nova Scotia where he gained valuable experience in working directly with clients to navigate and resolve difficult family law issues. During that time, he represented clients in divorce proceedings, adoptions, common-law separations, and prepared marriage contracts and estate documents. Clients are comfortable with Zack and he is easy to talk with during difficult family law situations. Zack’s main practice areas are ICBC Defense and Family Law.

Zack was born in Newfoundland and grew up in the small town of Pasadena on the west coast of the island. He has a love for the outdoors and feels right at home in the beautiful Okanagan Valley. He often spends his time outside of work hiking, fly fishing, mountain biking, and exploring the natural wonders of his new home. Zack has also been an avid guitarist for most of his life and can usually be found picking a tune on his Martin D-28 whenever he’s at home.

Zack attended Memorial University in St. John’s, Newfoundland where he earned degrees in Political Science (Hons.) and Russian Language & Literature along with several academic scholarships for excellence in Canadian policy analysis. His interest in public policy brought him to law school at Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

While studying at Dalhousie Law, Zack excelled in moot court competitions. He was one of four students selected to represent Dalhousie at the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, the oldest and largest moot competition in the world. Zack also spent a semester working at Dalhousie Legal Aid Service where he assisted low-income clients in a broad range of legal areas including Family Law and residential tenancy disputes.
