Paul is originally from Sydney, Australia. He began his legal journey working for several years as a Court Officer in the New South Wales Attorney General’s Department, where he facilitated court proceedings in criminal, civil, and family cases. He also conducted mental health hearings in hospitals, supporting vulnerable individuals through the legal system. This hands-on experience inspired him to pursue a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Wollongong, graduating in 2012. He was called to the Bar of New South Wales and practiced as a lawyer in the area of real estate and conveyancing.

Later, Paul completed a Graduate Diploma in Education in 2016 and worked as an elementary school teacher. He taught in remote communities in Outback Australia and in Timor-Leste, where he particularly appreciated the opportunity to support children with special needs and to work closely with families in challenging environments.

As a dual Australian-Canadian citizen, Paul moved to Canada and successfully completed the qualification process to practice law in British Columbia. He articled on Vancouver Island before relocating to the Okanagan to focus on family law.

Family law is Paul’s preferred area of practice. His maturity and diverse life experience — from working in the courts to teaching children and families — gives him a deep appreciation for the importance of parenting time, stable relationships, and financial support for children. Paul brings a calm, reassuring presence to his clients.  He is an excellent listener who provides clear, practical advice and guides clients through difficult times with professional skill and empathy, always protecting their interests while seeking constructive solutions.

Outside of work, Paul enjoys golf and snowboarding.
