Martin Estate and Injury Law is providing a Truth and Reconciliation Scholarship of $3,500.00 through School District 22 (Vernon) for an Indigenous graduate interested in justice to pursue post-secondary studies in any field (university or trades).
The first recipient was SAMANTHA LOVELY, who graduated from Vernon Senior Secondary (VSS) in June 2023. Samantha is using her scholarship to study at Okanagan College in the Legal Assistant program.
Students can apply from any secondary school in School District 22 for the 2024 scholarship. It will be awarded next at graduation in June 2024. This scholarship will be awarded 5 times over 5 years.
